Is 2200W too powerful for delicate fabrics?
No. Wattage controls how quickly the iron reaches and recovers temperature, not how hot it gets. The adjustable dial still lets you drop to a low silk or synthetic setting — you simply get there faster and hold it more steadily.
Can I use tap water in it?
Yes for normal use. In hard-water areas around Nairobi and Mombasa we recommend cooled boiled water or distilled water to slow down scale build-up in the steam vents.
